Anambra South hopeful Nsofor vows 2027 return after abduction

From Stanley Uzoaru, Owerri

Chinedu Nsofor, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant who was abducted in Kogi State while on his way to purchase his nomination form for the Anambra South by-election, has promised to contest again in 2027.

Nsofor’s abduction prevented him from purchasing the nomination form, causing him to miss the deadline.

Before his abduction, Nsofor had planned a grand endorsement by seven PDP LGA chairmen, seven women leaders, and the entire Anambra South zonal leadership.

Nsofor stated that his “Divine Intervention Project” lives on, and he will return in 2027 with a clearer vision, deeper strength, and a fire purified by trials.

“I declare: Those who plot in the dark shall stumble by the light. Those who dig pits shall fall into them. The Lord will lift my head above their schemes and anoint me with fresh oil,” he said.

Nsofor has invited friends, family, and supporters to a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, July 27, at Dunamis Owerri Central, where he will celebrate his freedom and testify to God’s goodness.
