APC: Ekwunife hails Yilwatda, says his emergence will reinvigorate party

Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has extended warm congratulations to Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his emergence as the National Chairman of the ruling party, describing his elevation as well-deserved and timely.

In a statement personally signed by her on Saturday, Senator Ekwunife expressed deep joy and pride over Yilwatda’s emergence, noting that his ascension comes at a defining moment for both the APC and the Nigerian nation.

 

She described the newly elected Chairman as a technocrat of repute, a visionary leader, and a loyal party stalwart whose blend of competence, grassroots connection, and reform-driven focus would bring renewed direction to the party’s leadership.

“Your emergence at this critical juncture in the life of our party and the nation at large is a strong testament to your unwavering commitment, brilliance, and track record of exemplary service,” Ekwunife stated. “It reflects the confidence reposed in your capacity to lead with purpose, vision, and deep-rooted integrity.”

Recalling his past contributions to the party, the Senator highlighted Professor Yilwatda’s role as the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Coordinator in Plateau State and his recent gubernatorial bid, describing both as “commendable expressions of his belief in responsive leadership and his readiness to serve.”

Senator Ekwunife expressed confidence that Yilwatda’s tenure would be marked by inclusiveness, reform, and unity within the APC.

She further noted that his leadership would strengthen the foundational ideals of the party and reposition it to better respond to the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians.
