Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to N825/Litre Ahead of Ramadan

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N890 to N825 per liter, effective February 27, 2025. This marks the second price cut in February, following an earlier N60 reduction.

In a statement on Wednesday, the refinery explained that the adjustment aims to ease financial burdens on Nigerians ahead of the Ramadan season while supporting President Bola Tinubu’s economic recovery initiatives.

Retail prices at partner stations will vary by region:

  • Lagos: N860 per litre
  • South-West: N870 per litre
  • North: N880 per litre
  • South-South/South-East: N890 per litre

This latest cut follows a N70.50 reduction in December 2024, continuing the refinery’s trend of lowering fuel prices for consumers.
