Ebonyi Broadcasting: Nwifuru appoints four journalists as Governing Board members

Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru has appointed four practicing journalists in the state as members of the governing board of the state’s broadcasting organisation.

The three journalists, namely, Samson Nwafor of the Independent Newspapers who is the state Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Felix Uka also of Independent Newspapers, former Secretary of NUJ in the state, Nnamdi Akpa of the Guardian Newspapers and Chinwe Imo-Eze, editor of The Voice Newspapers, a local tabloid based in the state are part of the seven-member governing board named by the governor for the Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC).

A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Dr. Monday Uzor, said the newly appointed members would be sworn-in on Monday in his office at the new Government House, Centenary City, Abakaliki, the state capital at noon.
