Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, is expected to billed to attend the maiden Bamofin Ladipo Johnson Under-16 football tournament August 17, as the chief guest of honour.
This was disclosed in a statement yesterday by the Secretary, Organizing Committee, Tayo Aboaba.
Aboaba said the grassroots soccer match would hold at the Abalti Barracks Stadium in Surulere, adding that the final match which will pitch Nice Base FC Lagos Island with Mainlander FC Ebute Meta “promises to be an eye popping duel judging by the prowess of the two finalists on their way to the coveted grand finale.
”Organised by The Johnson Initiative for Positive Impact in conjunction with the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association, the tournament is meant to develop soccer talents and create opportunities for their growth.
”Kano State Governor, His Excellency, Abba Kabir Yusuf, is expected to grace the final as the Chief Guest of Honour.”
