Governor Fubara Warns Against Fake Pipeline Explosion Videos

Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has raised concerns over the circulation of fabricated videos showing alleged pipeline explosions in the state. He claims these videos are part of a malicious attempt to incite unrest and damage the state’s reputation.

Fubara emphasizes that the communities supposedly affected have dismissed these claims, confirming that all critical infrastructure remains intact. He also denies any association with militant groups and warns against exploiting the current political climate to create instability.

The governor has called on security agencies to investigate the origins of these misleading videos and urged the public, especially social media users, to stop spreading unverified information that could escalate tensions.
