Residents of Kano State, Friday, trooped out in their numbers to welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is on a condolence visit to the state.
Tinibu is visiting the state to condole with the family of the Late Aminu Alhassan Dantata, a renowned business mogul and philanthropist who passed away weeks ago in Dubai, United Arab Emirate.

The President was received at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibril, and a host of NNPP and APC’s party stalwarts.
Upon arrival, the President proceeded to the residence of the Late Aminu Dantata at Koki Quarters within the metropolis, where he was recieved by the son of the deceased, Tajuddeen Dantata and other members of the family
The President condoled the bereaved family and the loved ones of the deceased and described the late business mogul as an icon worthy of emulation and a man whose philanthropy was a mark of excellence.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Aminu Alhassan Dantata, saying: “May Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
