Kebbi governor mourns Emir of Gusau’s death

Kebbi State Governor Dr Nasir Idris has condoled with the Government of Zamfara State and the Council of the State Traditional Rulers over the death of the Emir of Gusau, Dr Ibrahim Bello.

Idris, in a condolence message to his Zamfara State counterpart, Dr Dauda Lawal Dare, noted that the death of the traditional ruler occurred at a time when his divine wisdom, elderly advice, and guidance were most needed for the sustenance of the relative peace and unity being witnessed in the state.

According to the statement signed by his Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris Zuru, the governor recalled the valuable contributions the late Emir made in ensuring effective healthcare delivery services in the old Sokoto State.

The governor prayed to Almighty Allah for abundant reward for the late Emir’s good deeds and forgiveness for his shortcomings.

He advised the family and, indeed, the entire royal family to be consoled by the remarkable selfless services the late Emir rendered to Allah and humanity.

On behalf of the government and people of Kebbi State, Governor Nasir Idris prayed to Allah for the repose of the soul of the deceased and to grant the family the courage to bear the great loss.
