Mars Aviation Limited has reacted to reports that the Federal High Court in Abuja granted an ex parte order temporarily restricting access to the company’s bank accounts, pledging to contest the decision and reaffirming its commitment to due process, transparency, and the rule of law.
In a statement issued yesterday in Lagos, the management of the airline, which is associated with businessman Mr. Bashir Haske, confirmed awareness of the court order but maintained that it was obtained without the company’s prior knowledge or opportunity to be heard.

“The application leading to the said order was made without notice to us, and we were therefore not allowed to present our position before the court,” the company said.
“We have since instructed our legal counsel to take all appropriate steps to challenge the order and ensure that the facts are properly placed before the court.”
The company emphasized that all its operations have been conducted in accordance with Nigerian laws and international aviation standards. It added that every payment received was for legitimate services rendered, dismissing the circulating allegations as unfounded and unsupported by credible evidence.
Mars Aviation further assured that it would cooperate fully with relevant authorities and provide comprehensive documentation to demonstrate the legitimacy and integrity of its transactions.
“We reaffirm our respect for the lawful mandate of agencies charged with investigative responsibilities. We trust that these powers will be exercised with fairness and full adherence to due process”, the company noted.
Reiterating its confidence in the Nigerian judicial system, the airline expressed optimism that once the matter is heard on its merits, the outcome will vindicate both the company and its management.
Mars Aviation described itself as a law-abiding corporate entity committed to ethical business conduct, regulatory compliance, and contributing to Nigeria’s aviation and economic growth. It also urged the public to refrain from making premature judgments until the judicial process runs its full course.
