Nigerian broadcaster, George Iniabasi Essien has been officially presented with his Guinness World Records certificate for longest marathon hosting a radio talk show.
Essien, better known as Mighty George, took to X to celebrate the feat on Wednesday.
Sharing a photo of the certificate, he wrote, “It’s official!
“A win for Nigeria, a win for Africa.
“To the dreamers, believers, and hard workers, I dedicate this achievement to you. May it inspire you to keep pushing boundaries.
“PS: My Naija people, do your thing, let’s get the world to know our latest achievement.”
Essien, a radio broadcaster with two decades of experience, clocked 105 hours between April 27 to May 1, 2025 on Comfort 95.1 FM, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to claim the record.
