Nigerian Doctor In The US Took Family Hostage Before Taking His Own Life

A US-based Nigerian cardiologist, Dr Ikenna Erinne, allegedly held his offended accomplice and their children prisoner at gunpoint for three hours sometime recently taking his claim life when police arrived, his father-in-law, Francis Van-Lare, has affirmed.

The appalling passing of the 36-year-old cardiologist has started strong talk about and far-reaching responses from Nigerians both domestically and overseas.

At first, accepted to have taken him possess life due to budgetary strain from a $15,000 month-to-month child back administering, modern disclosures recommend that his last minutes were distant and more exasperating.

Francis Van-Lare, the father of Erinne’s offended accomplice, has affirmed that sometime recently his suicide, the perished specialist held his girl and grandchildren prisoner at gunpoint for three hours.

He eventually turned the weapon on himself when police arrived.

Van-Lare, a socialite and open figure, made the claim on his official Facebook account on Sunday.

This was in reaction to a prior post by Facebook client Amanda Chisom, who clarified that Erinne’s ex-partner was not a white lady, as broadly conjectured, but Van-Lare’s girl.
