NNPCL Refineries Not Producing Enough Petrol, Says DAPPMAN

The Depots and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) has raised concerns about the insufficient petrol production from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) refineries. This shortfall has led to ongoing fuel supply challenges across the country.

According to DAPPMAN, the refineries are currently operating below capacity, which significantly impacts the availability of petrol in the market. Marketers have noted that this situation contributes to rising fuel prices and long queues at filling stations.

Officials from DAPPMAN are urging the government to address the inefficiencies within the refineries to boost production. They emphasize that improved output is essential for stabilizing the fuel market and meeting the growing demand.

As the situation persists, both consumers and businesses are feeling the effects of limited petrol supply. Stakeholders continue to call for urgent reforms to enhance refinery operations and ensure consistent fuel availability throughout Nigeria.
