Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he got big offers from other clubs before he joined Turkish side Galatasaray.
Osimhen, 26. who attracted interest from clubs like Chelsea, Al-Hilal, Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer.
Following their 3-1 win against Rizespor, in which he found the back of the net in the 65th minute, Osimhen revealed that he wanted to be at Galatasaray because he is valued there.

According to him, the difficult part of the big offers he got was the financial aspect, but he turned them down.
“I already knew in my heart where I wanted to be. They valued me here.
“My club, my fans… There is a really different understanding within the club. Whether a player makes the starting eleven or the substitutes, everyone is respected here.
“The difficult part was the financial one. I received some big offers, offers from big clubs.
“It would be a lie if I said it didn’t interest me. But I’m happy to be at Galatasaray,” Osimhen stated.
