Panel Established By Bowen Varsity To Identify The Students’ Killers

According to the administration of Bowen University in Iwo, Osun State, a three-person committee has been established to communicate with the police to help identify the attackers behind the recent murder of a student.

Earlier, the Osun State Police Command announced that its detectives had begun an investigation to identify the individuals responsible for the fatal stabbing of Paul, a 200-level student at Bowen University.

The announcement was made by Yemisi Opalola, the command spokeswoman, who said that the incident was reported at the Iwo Divisional headquarters last Wednesday at approximately 10:55 p.m.

Additionally, according to Opalola, the deceased was a student in the university’s Department of Computer Science prior to his passing.

“Akindoyo Joseph, CSO, Bowen University, Iwo, came to the Iwo Police Divisional Headquarters, Iwo, at approximately 10:55 p.m. on 22/01/2025 and reported that one Paul Thinker, a 200-Level Computer Science student, had been stabbed by an unidentified person or people,” Opalola stated.
