A member of the Plateau State House of Assembly Laven Denty Jacob, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
Laven, representing Pankshin South constituency was said to have been abducted on Monday night in the front of his residence in Angwan Kagji area of Dong in Jos North Local government area of the state.
A source close him said that the incident happened around 7.30pm when the Lawmaker returned home and while waiting at the entrance of his gate for his security man to open the gate, three masked men swooped on him and forcefully whisked him away to an unknown location.
Our Correspondent gathered that frantic moves are on to rescue the lawmaker.
Police authorities are yet to confirm the incident.
