Police Nab Man with Human Skulls in Ebonyi

The Ebonyi State Police have arrested Ovuta Chigozie from the Okoffia community in Ezza South for possessing two human skulls and three locally made guns. Speaking in Abakaliki on Wednesday, Police Public Relations Officer SP Joshua Ukandu revealed that Chigozie admitted the skulls were intended for use in preparing a spiritual concoction.

In addition to the arrests related to the human skulls, police operations in the state uncovered a criminal syndicate involved in altering the colors of stolen tricycles from neighboring states. During an operation to track a stolen tricycle, officers arrested four suspects—Nweke Chukwudi, Nwankwo Obinna, John Abba, and Uche Abba—and recovered three stolen tricycles. All the arrested suspects will be charged in court following further investigations.
