A civil rights group, the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety), has raised the alarm over what it described as Fulani Jihadists’ plot to impose a Sultanate on Nigeria by 2075.
Emeka Umeagbalasi, chairman and other leaders of the group in their report on Friday, alleged that Nigeria is currently headquartering 22 Islamic terror groups in Africa seeking to obliterate Christianity and indigenous cultural heritage to achieve this purpose with the World Jihad fund.

The group stated that the terror groups, presently using Nigeria as their safest haven, were also seeking to wipe out an estimated 112 million Christians and 13 million traditional religionists across the country, particularly in South East and South-South by the year 2075 or in 50 years’ time.
Intersociety further alleged that to achieve the objectives, the terror group had so far massacred an estimated 7,087 Christians and abducted 7,800 in 220 days of 2025, mostly Christians from South East, South South, who were either killed or incarcerated alongside thousands of liberal Muslims particularly across core northern Muslim states.
“The Islamic terror groups are using violence and genocidal means to obliterate or wipe out Nigeria’s indigenous ethnic groups and their identities, especially the 3,475-year-old Igbo cultural heritage put in place since 1450 BC,” it stated.
Meanwhile, the US has strongly condemned the recent wave of brutal attacks targeting Christians in Nigeria and across sub-Saharan Africa, calling the violence horrific and pledging to work with international partners to address the crisis.
The condemnation follows a series of deadly incidents in recent weeks, including the alleged massacre of 27 Christians in the Nigerian village of Bindi Ta-hoss by Islamist Fulani militants.
