Rite Foods Limited has deepened its commitment to youth empowerment and leadership development through a strategic partnership with Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) for the 2025 Big Sister Programme, held at Majidun Senior Grammar School, Ikorodu.
The annual initiative, spearheaded by WIMBIZ, aims to inspire and mentor young girls with the confidence, values, and knowledge needed to thrive in their academic pursuits, future careers, and personal lives.
Representing Rite Foods Limited at the event, Olukemi Ogunsakin, Corporate Communications Manager, urged the students to cultivate resilience, discipline, and adaptability. She encouraged them to view challenges as stepping stones to personal growth.

“At Rite Foods, we believe in supporting platforms that shape the future of our nation,” Ogunsakin said. “By mentoring young girls on confidence, career, and entrepreneurship, we are contributing to building a generation of strong, capable, and visionary leaders. Our involvement in the WIMBIZ Big Sister Programme reflects our belief that when we invest in the younger generation, we invest in Nigeria’s brighter future.” She added that self-confidence, resilience, and courage remain vital traits for any woman aspiring to make meaningful impact. “These are attributes of a future-focused woman and should be embraced with purpose and readiness,” she affirmed. Also speaking at the event, Olabisi Adebisi-Opatade, Legal Counsel at Rite Foods Limited, encouraged the girls to approach career decisions with clarity and conviction. “The courage to choose wisely comes from self-discovery. When you know your values, embrace your strengths, and confront your weaknesses, you open the door to a career that is truly yours,” she advised.
Adebisi-Opatade emphasized that Rite Foods’ collaboration with WIMBIZ underscores its identity as more than a food and beverage brand — it is also a catalyst for mentorship, youth development, and empowerment.
The initiative aligns with the company’s sustainability framework, EYEC — Education, Youth Empowerment, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Development — which drives its social impact programmes across Nigeria. Through partnerships like the Big Sister Programme, Rite Foods continues to champion initiatives that nurture talent, inspire ambition, and promote gender inclusion.
Beyond its collaboration with WIMBIZ, Rite Foods has consistently demonstrated its commitment to uplifting young Nigerians. In May 2025, the company donated educational materials — including school bags and exercise books — to over 2,000 students in Ogun, Lagos, and Abuja.
By supporting mentorship-driven programmes and empowering the next generation of female leaders, Rite Foods reinforces its broader mission: to build a more confident, educated, and progressive society where every young girl can dream boldly and lead purposefully.
