Following his summer transfer stalemate with La Dea, Lookman resumed training with the club on Thursday.
The Nigerian international pushed to join Inter Milan but failed after the Nerazzurri’s proposals were rejected by Atalanta.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Atalanta now wants the player to sign a new contract with an improved salary.
Lookman has two years left on his contract with the Bergamo club.
He could push to leave Atalanta when the transfer window reopens in January.
