Thunderstorm Fire Destroys Ekiti School, Pupils Relocated

A devastating thunderstorm fire has destroyed a school in Ekiti State, forcing the relocation of its pupils to a temporary learning facility. The incident, which occurred during a heavy downpour, caused significant damage to classrooms, leaving students and teachers stranded.

Authorities confirmed that the fire, triggered by a lightning strike, quickly engulfed parts of the school, reducing vital learning materials to ashes. Fortunately, no casualties were recorded, but the damage has disrupted academic activities.
