President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students for their outstanding performances at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition held in London.

Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu was named the overall best in English language skills, 15-year-old Rukayya Muhammad Fema won the top prize in debate, while Hadiza Kashim Kalli received the outstanding talent award with a gold medal.

According to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed his pride in the young champions, saying, “These exceptional young Nigerians have demonstrated that our future is bright, with many youths standing as beacons of excellence on the world stage.”

The President also took the opportunity to commend the Nigerian education system’s role in nurturing talent. “Their achievements are a testament to the quality and potential within our education institutions,” he noted. Emphasising the importance of education to national progress, President Tinubu highlighted his administration’s efforts in investing heavily in the sector and removing financial barriers through programmes like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

“To Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza, I encourage you to remain steadfast in your studies,” he said. “Your success is an inspiration to many, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.”
