The All Peoples Congress (APC) has become an institution that cannot be dismantled by any coalition.
The party represents the hope of the Nigerian masses led by President Bola Tinubu, who will continue as the number one citizen of Nigeria till 2031.
A party chieftain in Oyo State and former member, House of Representatives, Akinrogun Segun Taiwo, claimed: “The coalition targeting at unseating President Tinubu is a platform of personal vendetta against Tinubu.
“With Tinubu achievements so far, no serious politician should risk challenging in the 2027 presidential election. Any attempt to dislodge Tinubu will fail. President Tinubu is the greatest political strategist of our time.
“He should be commended for his audacious economic reforms like the on going tax reforms. These are steps in the right direction for economic growth.
“With the removal of fuel subsidy, there are no more logjams at our filling stations. More money is going to states to enable them pay workers’ salaries.
“The President should also be applauded for making states more financially buoyant through about 300 per cent increase in value added tax (VAT) and monthly allocations.
“These strange bedfellow politicians coming together in this loosely packaged coalition are heading to fail woefully. Are they people of like mind? Are they people of the same political philosophy and ideology?
“Rather, they are expired politicians who once were calling the shots. They lost out, they couldn’t hold on to power indefinitely.
“Their ganging up is a desperation to return to power by all means possible. That is the reason they are bound to fail this time around. They have outlived their usefulness and are no longer relevant.”
Taiwo advised them to retire to the background and watch events unfolding under Tinubu to their delight: “This is more honourable than scheming to unseat an astute strategist like Tinubu. If you cannot beat him, you join him to make lives better for Nigerians.”
