A Gboko-based manufacturer of different agro processing machines, Engr Jacob Tyo has received Royal blessings from the Paramount Ruler of the Tiv nation, Orcivirigh Prof James Ayatse.
Tor Tiv who received Engr Tyo in his Palace in Gboko was amazed by the technological exploits of the young man.

The Tor Tiv who noted that he has always prayed for the technological advancement for a prosperous Tiv nation, expressed gratitude to God for what he described as prayers answered as demonstrated by the young machine manufacturer.
Professor Ayatse implored him to engage youths and train them as well to produce many of such machines to boost the agricultural business in Tiv land.
Tor Tiv assured him of his maximum support to achieve his desires of replacing hard labour with mechanized farming. He also pledged to assist him reach out to appropriate authorities for financial assistance or sponsorship.
Earlier, Engr Jacob Tyo, while operating the latest agro-tiller machine he constructed in his workshop in Gboko told the Tor Tiv that the challenges faced by farmers has motivated him to construct the machines for them to reduce stress.
He said he also produced it to encourage mechanized farming in order to maximize productivity and have more value their labour.
He explained his desire to engage over 40 youths and impact his technological skills on them if empowered so that they can become self employed.
He disclosed that he has more ideas on how to construct machines that can harvest rice as well as agro processing machines for Benue farmers and even beyond.
He described his visit to the Tor Tiv as a remarkable day for him and the Tiv nation saying the great blessings and encouragement he received from “our great father” will spur him to bring more innovations in the technology world to the doorsteps of Benue farmers.
