Ipswich Town striker, Liam Delap is close to joining Chelsea this summer.
According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is closing in on a deal for Delap as long-term contract negotiations with his agency are concluded.

It’s learnt that Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League qualification
made the difference.
The Blues are now set to activate the player’s £30m release clause that Ipswich Town placed on his contract.
Chelsea is now waiting for a formal communication from Ipswich Town over the player’s signature.
Delap finished the just concluded season with 12 Premier League goals.
He had attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and other Premier League clubs.
