Two teams advanced to the semifinals of the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, (WAFCON) on Friday.
Nigeria dominated the first quarter-final match, defeating Zambia 5-0.
Osinachi Ohale opened the scoring in the second minute of the game, heading a free kick beyond Petronella Musole.

The Super Falcons doubled their advantage through Esther Okoronkwo. It was 3-0 when both teams went in for the half-time break, thanks to Chinwendu Ihezuo.
Oluwatosin Demehin and Folashade Ijamilusi added two more goals in the second half.
The Falcons will play either Senegal or South Africa for a place in the final.
In the second quarter-final, Morocco defeated Mali 3-1.
Ibtissam Jraidi scored twice before Kenza Chapelle added the third goal.
Aissata Traore’s penalty was merely a consolation. The Atlas Lionesses will face either Ghana or Algeria in the semi-finals.
