She stressed the importance of deploying the modern equipment in aiding teaching and learning in the Nursing profession.

“We believe this will afford a high-fidelity, safe, and controlled environment for students to acquire and refine clinical skills without risking patient harm.

“It will also bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice by allowing for repeated, hands-on practice, which builds confidence and competence for the students”, she concluded.

Receiving the items, the Provost of institution, Mrs Eze Uchenna lauded the 1996-1999 graduands for the gesture, describing it as first of it kind.

“This is the first set to appreciate this School since it started in 1962. It is our sincere intention that these mannequins will serve as practical teaching aids for student nurses, enhancing the quality of hands-on training and facilitating the acquisition of essential clinical skills.

“We believe that the availability of these resources will greatly support the tutors in impacting knowledge and will provide student nurses with the opportunity to practice procedures in a safe and controlled environment before engaging with real patients and further uphold the high standards of nursing education for which the school is known”, she stated.
