Eagles fly out to Russia via Morocco

After winning the 2025 Unity Cup in London, the Super Eagles will now fly out to Moscow yesterday for a historic first-ever clash against Russia.

The squad, which has Niger Tornadoes midfielder Papa Daniel as the only NPFL, will fly via Morocco to Russia.

Tanzania-based goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, who could not travel to London due to visa issues, will be expected to make his way to Russia.

The money-spinning friendly against Russia will be played on Friday, June 6 at the Luzhinki Stadium in Moscow, which played host to both the opening and final of the 2018 World Cup.
