The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, has reaffirmed Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s commitment towards the transformation of Anambra State into Nigeria’s digital and creative capital.

He said that already the governor has taken giant steps in that direction by making deliberate investments in infrastructure, digital skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, social development, and economic transformation through technology and the creative economy.

Agbata, who is also the Convener of the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS), told Sunday Sun that the governor’s bold decisions such as the waiver of Right of Way fees have already unlocked broadband expansion, boosted digital capacity, and laid the foundation for a vibrant digital economy.

“With another four years, these gains will not only be deepened but will firmly position Anambra as Nigeria’s hub for digital innovation and the creative economy,” Agbata stated.

The ICT Agency’s CEO appealed to Ndi Anambra to support governor’s reelection bid to enable him consolidate on the gains recorded so far in the state’s ICT sector.

“With Mr Governor, the digital promise is real. Solution continues, and Anambra is rising,” CFA affirmed.
