Six young men have been killed in a ghastly auto crash that occurred on Saturday, July 26, in Dambatta LGA of Kano State.
Although the details of the accident are still sketchy, Daily Sun gathered that the victims were returning from Katsina State to their town in Dambatta when the accident occurred.
Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, who confirmed the accident, conveyed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.
A statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, on Sunday confirmed the Governor’s heartfelt condolences.
“It is with profound sorrow that I offer my deepest condolences to the families and the entire community of Dambatta on the tragic loss of six young lives,” the statement said.
The governor condoled with the family of the deceased, the Dambatta community, the State, and Nigeria at large for the loss of these young men.
“The news of the car accident, claiming these boys on their way back from Katsina, has brought immense grief to us all,” the statement said.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the families who are enduring unimaginable pain and sorrow right now. May you find strength and God comfort you for the irreparable loss and may Allah SWT grant them Jannah-tul-Firdous.
“The entire nation mourns with you. We share in your grief and pray for the departed souls,” said the statement.
