On April 2, 2026, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited Jos, Plateau State, following the March 29 Palm Sunday attack in Angwan Rukuba.
The attack claimed the lives of at least 26 people and left many families grieving. 
During the visit, the President met with victims’ families, state leaders, and Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
He expressed deep sympathy and assured residents of government support. He stated that no compensation can replace lost lives.
