Edo: Okpebholo mourns with deputy over mother’s passing

The governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, and his family on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa, who died on April 8 at the age of 95.

The governor, in a statement he personally signed, described her passing as a deeply painful loss, noting that the death of a mother, regardless of age, leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of her loved ones.

Governor Okpebholo acknowledged the remarkable life Mama Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa lived, marked by love, sacrifice, and devotion to family, adding that her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.

He prayed that God grant the deputy governor and the entire Idahosa family the strength, courage, and fortitude to bear this great loss while also praying for the peaceful repose of her soul.

The governor reaffirmed that the thoughts and prayers of the Government and the good people of Edo State are with the Deputy Governor and his family during this period of mourning.
