FIFA has officially approved goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo’s international switch from England to Nigeria, clearing the path for him to represent the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Wrexham FC shot-stopper, who previously represented England at youth levels, has now completed all necessary documentation to change his international allegiance.
With the approval secured, the 22-year-old is immediately eligible for selection by the Nigeria national team ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
