NALDA Launches Kwara Mega Farm Estate as part of efforts to strengthen agriculture and tackle insecurity. The project reflects a shift toward large scale farming. It also supports rural economic development.
The initiative is located in Ora, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State. It forms part of the Renewed Hope Mega Farm programme approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Large Scale Farm Model Takes Shape
The project covers a vast area.
Reports confirm that about 5,000 hectares of land have been secured and cleared for the farm estate.
In addition, each farmer will receive five hectares. Each participant is also expected to engage four to five workers.
As a result, the project is projected to engage about 5,000 farmers and positively impact over 10,000 lives.

Officials explained that the estate will include infrastructure such as hostels, warehouses, and administrative buildings.
