Pastor Lazarus Muoka, General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, has called on Nigerians and the global community to prioritise peace and love this Easter.
Describing the season as a period for restoring hopelessness, he emphasised that national unity is the ultimate way to honour the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Muoka, who spoke through the Director of Public Relations of the body, Pastor Louis Chidi, noted that Easter provides the invisible chords of hope and blessing necessary to help people rise above difficult circumstances.
“If there was ever a time we needed peace in this country, it is now,” he stated.
Muoka maintained that the resurrection of Christ serves as a reminder that no challenge is insurmountable.
According to him, the prevailing hardships in the country can be overcome if citizens embrace the message of Christ. The ministry is hosting a special programme themed: ‘God’s Covenant of Peace and Blessing” today, Saturday, April 4, and tomorrow Sunday, April 5, 2026. The event will take place at the Chosen Revival Ground along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway (Ijesha Bus Stop) in Lagos.
